Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had this restless spark — that feeling that I was meant to create something of my own. While other kids dreamed of ordinary jobs, I told my family I wanted to be an inventor. I didn’t know what that meant at the time — I just knew I wanted to build something that mattered.
Years later, I found myself working in patent and trademark firms, surrounded by people protecting the ideas of others. It was valuable experience, but deep down, I knew it wasn’t my path. I wanted more freedom, more creativity — something that truly felt like me.
About ten years ago, a family member gave me the chance to travel across Canada selling leather care products. That experience changed everything. Being on the road, meeting new people every day, seeing the country — it lit something inside me. I realized how alive I felt when I was building connections face to face and standing behind something I believed in.
When I eventually returned to a nine-to-five job, that feeling never went away. For nearly seven years, the idea of doing my own thing quietly grew in the back of my mind. It took time, courage, and a lot of reflection — but eventually, I decided to take the leap.
That’s when Buzzee Bee was born. A natural leather care product made with ingredients I trust and use myself — beeswax and tallow — created to restore, protect, and bring life back to the things we love most.
Today, we live in a world of constant consumerism and overconsumption. People are encouraged to throw things away and replace them instead of repairing and preserving what they already have. I wanted to create something that pushes back against that — a product that helps minimize waste and reminds us that when we take care of our belongings, they can last for years, even decades.
For the past few years, I’ve been bringing Buzzee Bee to markets, trade shows, and fairs across Canada — connecting with people, hearing their stories, and seeing firsthand how something small can make a real difference. With the support of my friends, family, and customers, Buzzee Bee has become so much more than a product — it’s a reflection of freedom, craftsmanship, and the belief that good things are worth preserving.
Thank you all,
Alec Lenarduzzi
